What's Cabinet Refacing?
Cabinet refacing is the most economical way to upgrade or update your kitchen. We are experts in turning old, worn out looking kitchens into a source of pride and pleasure every time you look at them. We can do this without all of the problems that come with a major remodeling job. In just a few working days you can have that kitchen of your dreams!
So you know that your kitchen needs work. The third drawer from the bottom sticks, the cabinet door above the sink doesn't close all the way, and the finish on the cabinets are worn off. Besides, lime green just isn't the color of choice these days. So where do you start? If refacing is all you want to do, then you'll find the process simple and easy. In refacing, rather than demolishing your old cabinets, and countertops, and building entirely new cabinets we:
-Remove, and dispose of, your old doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes and crown/trim molding.
-Cover (Re-Skin) your existing cabinet frames with new real wood veneer or formica backed thermofoil laminate that is an EXACT color match to your new doors and drawer fronts that will be installed later.
-Install new drawer boxes and new drawer slides if needed.
-Install new doors, with hidden hinges, and new drawer fronts in a new style and color of your choice. There are hundreds of possible combinations.
-Install new knobs or handles, roll-out shelves, tilt-out trays, crown molding, lazy susan’s or other available accessories depending on your needs or budget.
-We can also extend, modify, or add additional cabinets before refacing. Want to install a new dishwasher or remove that old, useless trash compactor to add more cabinet space? No problem!
It's as simple as that!
We use quality, hidden European hinges on all of our doors, plus, there are many options available like tilt-out trays, roll-out shelves, roll-out trash bins, spice racks, knobs, finger pulls, crown molding, new sink cabinet floors, under cabinet lighting, new cabinets, new drawer boxes......the possibilities are endless.
